Not yet....

Another Saturday Centus, a themed writing meme. The challenge is to write 100 words to add to the prompt started by Jenny Matlock from off on my tangent.

The writing prompt is in itallics....

It’d been so long since she’d seen him.

When he reached for her hand the pain of years separated melted away.

“I’ve missed you” Daddy said spinning her around “ Look at you, all grown up and pretty as ever”.

She closed her eyes tight, it felt wonderful to be with him again.

A booming voice startled her eyes open.

“May I help you, miss? You look puzzled.”
“Mmmm… thank you, I’m just looking for my father. We came in together a moment ago, but he seems to have wandered off.”

A confused Missy told the bearded man dressed in white.

“MISSY, MISSY!!! Come on honey ” another voice called.

The flat line on the screen came roaring back to life.

 Bleep... bleep... bleep....

And Dr. Jonah Simpson felt again Godlike.

  2. Mr. Jenny says "this is what the prompt is supposed to be...people going in all different directions! Very creative!"

And I say wow, where the heck did that come from? I wouldn't have seen that train track even with my reading glasses AND my contacts on!

    Really fun!

  3. Wow. Totally unexpected, and you packed so much into that short piece, it took me right out of myself and into the story immediately. Brava!

  7. I love this post, the clan writing and the twist at the end. I posted my story before reading any others. I like to do that just so I won't unconsciously go in a direction that's not entirely my own. Could we be soul sisters?

Some bloggers write "gimme me some love".... as far as I'm concerned, I'd love some love, but I'd even take some hate, some expressions of your disgust, your outrage, mild irritation, sheer joy...whatever, I can take it, honestly I can. Just please (please) leave a comment or two and let me know what you think. Merci.
